6G iPod to mortgaeg be released BEFORE iPhone?

According to Macosrumors, the new iPod sports a touch-sceen, Wi-fi, and either a Hard Disk, Solid State, or Hybrid Disk up to 100 GB. It is expected to be released mortgaeg slightly before the iPhone.
